Review by hotel critic
Staying at Hotel Alte Brennerei in Wernigerode was a delightful experience! Nestled in the heart of Old Town, it proved to be an ideal location for exploring the charming streets, with the market square just a pleasant stroll away. I was particularly impressed by the breakfast-it was an all-you-can-eat affair that catered beautifully to both savory and sweet cravings, making me feel right at home. The cozy restaurant serves up an array of Schnitzel specialties too, perfect for a relaxed dinner after a day of adventures. My room was a snug retreat, beautifully decorated, providing premium bedding that made for restful nights. The staff, including the friendly manager, were attentive and helpful, adding to the warm atmosphere of the hotel. Lastly, the idyllic beer garden was the cherry on top-perfect for unwinding with a drink in hand during the summer evenings! I loved every minute of my stay here; it's a wonderful spot that blends comfort with a touch of local charm.
